Ewa Kobylarczyk

I am a Polish artist living in Finland. I obtained MA degree in sculpture in the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk 1998. I studied in Helsinki Art Academy, postgraduate studies 1999-2000. I made individual projects, participated in group exhibitions and in art residences in Finland, Norway and USA.

I create the large installations in public spaces. I make also traditional small scale sculpture and ceramics. I build my projects upon the local stories and contexts, often going outside the gallery walls and entering the dialog with the local people.
