Secret garden
UPDATE: Secret Garden still in September and October by Porvoo cathedral. In September it started to grow and bloom with plants, in October it will change for dark autumn period.

Instalacja artystyczna: “Secret garden.”
Inspiracją dla mojej pracy artystycznej jest książka angielskiej pisarki Frances Hodgson-Burnett “Tajemniczy ogród.” Głównymi bohaterami książki są dzieci, które odkryły tajemnicze wejście do zapomnianego ogrodu.
Postanowiłam stworzyć swój rzeźbiarski ogród – pracę, która jest w dużej mierze ekologiczną. Przez blisko rok czasu zbierałam gałęzie brzozy i wierzby, wiązałam je ze sobą za pomocą cienkiego drutu. Powiązane gałęzie łączyłam w całość nadając im różne kierunki i starając się nadać pracy tajemniczy charakter.
Instalacja jest wzmocniona dzięki silnej konstrukcji metalowej. W pracę zostały wplecione rośliny pnące oraz kilka krzewów róż. Instalacja Secret g
Garden jest częścią wystawy ” Ystävyys ajan kanssa” (5. 7-31.8.2025) i jest umieszczona przy Katedrze w Porvoo. Praca będzie zmieniała się z upływem czasu, roślinność przypuszczalnie obrośnie ściany ogrodu.
My artwork:”Secret garden” is inspired by the book written by English writer Frances Hodgson-Burnett. The main characters of the book are children, who discovered a secret entrance to the forgotten garden.
I decided to create my own sculptural garden as a largely ecological work. For nearly a year I collected birch and willow branches, tied them together using thin wire. I combined the tied branches together, giving them different directions and trying to create a mysterious character of my work. The structure of “Secret garden”is inforced by strong metal construction. Vining plants and several rose bushes are woven into my work.
” Secret Garden” is the part of Porvoo exhibition” Ystävyys ajan kanssa”, my work is located near Porvoo Cathedral during the period: 5.7-31.8.2025.
The art installation will change with a time, and the plants will presumably overgrow the garden walls.
